Bold, quirky, graphic and colourful are the words that best describe my style. I love working with colours, shapes and whatever else grabs my attention to create distinctive and practical homeware, textiles and accessories.
My fibres of choice are linen, cotton and silk because they’re beautiful to work with and take colour differently to synthetics.
I’ve had a life-long interest in art and completed a Bachelor of Design (Interiors) at Otago Polytechnic after 20 years work as a physiotherapist. Since then I’ve combined my art skills with digital technology to create surface textile patterns either digitally or screen printed onto fabric. My designs are a work in progress, I’m always on the lookout for new ideas and ways to use my patterns. My goal is to build a high quality, long lasting textile range to be used and enjoyed by many.
